Course Description:
Green Supply Chain Management is a compulsory course for students majoring in Business Administration. The course is designed to develop students' understanding and practical application of the fundamental theories, technologies, and methods related to green supply chain management. It aims to equip students with the ability to analyze and resolve real-world issues in green supply chains. Upon completion, students will be able to manage logistics, information flow, and capital flow efficiently in an integrated global economy, while maintaining a strong focus on environmental protection and corporate social responsibility.

Upon completing this course, students will be able to:
Understand the fundamental theories of green supply chain management and its significance in global sustainable development;
Master the design and construction methods of green supply chains, including supplier selection and network layout optimization;
Develop rational production planning and control strategies to achieve efficient resource use and environmentally friendly operations;

Teaching Methods:
The course employs a combination of multimedia instruction, seminar-based learning, and experiential practice, including:
Multimedia instruction: Utilizes PPTs, videos, and other multimedia tools to explain theoretical concepts clearly and effectively;
Seminars: Includes five scheduled seminar sessions featuring debates and reflective discussions to deepen understanding and promote active participation;
Practical simulations: Engages students in the “Beer Game” supply chain simulation to help them grasp upstream-downstream dynamics and the bullwhip effect, enhancing their hands-on skills and problem-solving capabilities.
Assessment Methods:
Final grades consist of continuous assessment (30%) and a final examination (70%).
Continuous assessment includes evaluations of students' self-directed learning, subject knowledge, teamwork, punctuality in completing tasks, and case analysis abilities. It is based on assignments, group projects, and class participation.
Final examination is a closed-book test that comprehensively assesses students' grasp of course content, ensuring they can not only recall key knowledge points but also flexibly apply them to solve practical problems.
